Blood sampling and determination of three (3) redox markers associated with the proper functioning of the antioxidant mechanism. More specifically, the levels of reduced glutathione (GSH), the most important antioxidant molecule of the human organism, the activity of catalase (CAT), a critical antioxidant enzyme, and the levels of thiobarbituric acid reactive substances (TBARS), byproducts of oxidative damage to cellular lipids, are determined. Based on the measurements, the antioxidant needs are determined and a personalized nutrition plan is developed to promote metabolic health.
